Wienerschnitzel is America's leading hot-dog restaurant. Although they have more than 350 locations throughout the United States (primarily along the west coast), the brand had lost equity in the minds of consumers as a fun, go-to fill’er-up. As a part of the American Advertising Federation's 2019 National Student Advertising Competition on the University of Minnesota team, I refreshed the stale brand by bringing in stupid-simple, punchy visuals to communicate our updated brand promise (“We sell hotdogs”) and drive cravings for the wonder meat.
